Welcome to Stringpoetry…

Enjoy this place of peace and appreciation…

Where there is love in the heart, there is life in the spirit… And, where there is life, there shall be growth…

Let’s do something extraordinary together…

I have been a soldier and a nurse…

I have been an Engineer and a teacher…

A poet, writer and musician…

I am a father of 3 grown men…

But, most of all, I am a student that practices an open mind so that when we come together, your reception will be tendered with respect and dignity… And, creative channels will have the environment to thrive!

I invite each of you to join in this environment your own creations in the comment boxes… Be who you are and true to yourself. And, I will listen doing the same…

I am humbled by your presence… Thank you!

Knowledge…
And, the wisdom
to use that knowledge,
blended with a willingness to love,
are our most empowering links

between who we are
and who we can become…
Ken Stuart
The Stringpoet

In 2008 and 2009, I was experimenting with recording my music and song along with some “spoken word” poetry productions… When they were released, they received very warm reception. I loved touching others in the way that there comments and emails described… So much did they touch me that I decided to make goals and set a course to at least give me an opportunity to produce these type of art creations as a profession.  There was much need for improvement in every facet of my processes, if I were ever to put out a quality product. Now, after 8 years of endless endeavors including improving my musical abilities,  learning new instruments, sound engineering, recording, mixing and mastering skills. Investments in equipment and building a savings to sustain me during these productions, I have this first “video” to show for it… I am nearing, but have not quite reached the quality that I seek. (I am producing a real video for this soundtrack, this is a lyrical rendering video, basically so I could post it here…

Please give me any constructive criticism or suggestions that you wish to share! I always appreciate another input as a resource to improvement!

Song Title: “Maybe”

Artist: Ken Stuart (All facets of this production were a solo work)
